What Now?

HEY! Regular ol’ me here, the me I love. I have learned a lot more than ever and I would love to share these lessons with you.

This world is a corrupted world. Sounds harsh but it is reality. The negative thing is that it affects you or the work you have put into something. The positive thing is that you become stronger and smarter when you have come to realize things. It’s not what you know, it's who you know. My mother has always told me that and I never knew how true it was until now. You can work REAL hard for something, sacrifice time, money, energy but someone else could know just one person who can make a difference. What I will say is that I am proud of myself and my work, because it did make me a stronger person. I had a summer of self-growth and I will continue on growing. I know God will continue watching over me and give the right girls what they deserve.

The most important lesson is to NEVER LET THE WORLD TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE ANY LESS OF WHO YOU ARE. Repeat after me, “I am beautiful!” Everybody is beautiful in their own way. Whether you’re 120lbs or 160lbs, whether you’re 5’2 or 5’9, you are awesome. I am 5’8 and 120lbs with a “curvy back” and short curly hair and you know what? I love it. Do not let anyone tell you that you can not do something or will not win because of any of your features. If you have the right confidence and love yourself, everyone will see it and you can make it far. If someone tells you something in a respectful/helpful and positive manner, then you can always take that into account. It is up to you whether you want to make the change or not. Do not listen to any negative remarks. “If I say it in a cruel manner it will give you a backbone, make you stronger, blah blah blah” NO HUMAN SHOULD EVER BE PUT DOWN. If you have something to say, be respectful and considerate. We have feelings, others are stronger than some, but we all have feelings. What you say can make a difference in someones mood or day. Treat others how you would like to be treated.

With all that being said,
I have a new platform, something I now have a greater passion for, which is, bullying. It is something I have experienced in different forms and when I am able to and can, I would love to share my stories and advice with everyone. I am proud to announce I am starting a new project called “Beautiful You,” which I will be working very hard on in the next couple of weeks.

The big question is what is next for Thatiana Diaz? Well besides the project I just mentioned, I will be starting school in two weeks to start my sophomore year at Pace University studying Communications. I am moving to Downtown Brooklyn for school and I must start doing yoga lol. I am currently looking for a job and/or internship in the city and I will definitely be continuing to work on my modeling career. I want to work on my video blog, which will be fun to do. What about pageants? I am done for a while but I will not stop preparing. *Cough Miss USA Cough* haha ;)

Peace, Love, Pageantry,
Thatiana Diaz
